By using UpUpImg (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What the Service does

UpUpImg generates AI-simulated previews of makeup styles applied to photos you upload. Results are visual approximations, not exact color or product representations.

Your responsibilities

Upload only photos of yourself, or photos of people who have agreed to be photographed and edited by you.

Do not upload photos of minors without the consent of a parent or guardian, and do not use the Service to create misleading, harassing, sexual or otherwise harmful imagery.

Do not use the Service to impersonate anyone, to fake product endorsements, or to violate any applicable law.

Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service or its AI providers.

AI-Generated Content Policy (Acceptable Use)

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every image you upload and every result you generate. You must not use the Service to create, upload, request or distribute any of the following categories of content:

(1) Sexual and pornographic content (NSFW): nudity, sexual acts, fetish material, or sexually suggestive depictions of any person, including photorealistic fakes.

(2) Violent and gory content: gratuitous violence, blood, dismemberment, torture, self-harm instructions, or the glorification of abuse.

(3) Hate speech: content that attacks, demeans or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation, including hate symbols and slurs.

(4) Child-unsafe content (CSAM): any sexual, exploitative or otherwise unsafe depiction of minors. This category is prohibited without exception; suspected violations are reported to the relevant authorities and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

(5) Deepfakes and impersonation: creating media that impersonates a real, identifiable person without their consent — including public figures — or that portrays anyone saying or doing things they never said or did, or that fakes evidence, endorsements or news.

(6) Copyright and trademark infringement: reproducing protected artwork, characters, logos, brand packaging or trade dress without authorization, or generating results that pass off as another brand’s products.

Violation handling: accounts that breach this policy face immediate removal of the offending content, credit forfeiture without refund, and suspension or permanent ban of the account, at our sole discretion based on the severity and recurrence of the violation. Where required by law, we cooperate with law enforcement.

Reporting: if you encounter content that violates this policy, report it to [email protected] with the share link or result ID. We review reports promptly and will remove confirmed violations and act on the responsible account.

Platform review: we operate automated and human review of generations on this Service. Results identified as violating this policy are blocked from being generated, and may be removed from storage after creation. Our underlying AI provider (Google) also applies its own safety filters before an image is returned.

Billing and refunds

Paid credit packs are one-time purchases and credits never expire. Each generated image costs 10 credits.

Automatic refunds for failed generations: when a generation fails on our side, the 10 credits spent on that image are returned to your account balance automatically and immediately — no action needed on your part. The refund appears in your credit history as a "REFUND" entry tied to the failed generation.

Other situations: because credits are a digital good consumed on delivery, purchased credit packs are otherwise non-refundable once any credits from the pack have been spent. If a pack was purchased but zero credits were spent, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing [email protected] with your order number; approved refunds are issued through the original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Free credits: the 20 welcome credits granted with the free plan carry no monetary value, were never paid for, and are therefore not refundable or exchangeable for cash.

Your content and results

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You may use the generated results for personal, non-commercial purposes — including posting them on social media — as long as you do not present them as real, unedited photographs of product results in a commercial context.

You grant us the limited technical right to process your uploads and store results solely to operate the Service for you.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, exact color accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. AI-generated previews may contain artifacts or unrealistic details.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or from decisions (such as purchases) made on the basis of generated previews.

Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these terms, at any time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. We may block usage that violates these terms.
